Misset appoints new editor for All About Feed


In this role, Klumper will be responsible for the development of Misset’s international portfolio. His appointment is part of Misset’s strategy, continuing to develop its omnichannel approach to providing B2B information to customers in the agricultural industries, both at the company’s headquarters in the Netherlands and internationally.

Klumper started his new role at Misset on September 1st, 2021, and brings years of experience in the media industry. For the past 7 years he has worked as a product development manager at the Royal Netherlands Institute for Standardization (NEN). In this role, he was responsible for the development and publication of training (online), web tools, webinars and conferences. In previous years he worked for years as Industry Market Manager at Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, The Netherlands and as Sales Manager and Editor for Reed Business Information.

The challenges of the agricultural sector

Klumper said: “I am excited about this challenge and look forward to furthering the growth ambitions of Misset in general and those of Misset International in particular in the months and years to come. The (international) agriculture and food sectors face enormous challenges, such as the process towards more sustainability, as well as the growing global demand for animal protein.

“This will change and expand the demand for relevant B2B information. Our job is to meet this demand, continuing to deliver quality content, developing a variety of digital products and subscription types, and putting our readers in close contact with new and existing parties in the market.

International ambition in the agricultural sector

For more than 100 years, Misset has been the leading publisher of (multimedia) titles in the agricultural sector in the Netherlands and internationally. With the appointment of Klumper, Misset aims to intensify its international ambitions.

In this context, it is about the titles Everything about the flow, Pig Progression, Poultry World, Global dairy products and Agriculture of the future, which are distributed and read around the world. In recent years, Misset has invested in an omnichannel strategy. Besides magazines, the publisher has developed websites, webinars, apps, podcasts, and events for these brands.

The publisher, based in Doetinchem, the Netherlands, employs more than 140 professionals working for the various media titles in the portfolio.
