It was a Happy Black Friday as local first responders and the Good Samaritans moved into Kitty Hawk’s Walmart to collect for the Toys for Tots player on November 26.

The results, as reported by this article on the Toys for Tots of Dare and Currituck Counties Facebook page, were very good.

“Another successful Black Friday Toy Drive! This community is simply aaahhhhmazing! We collected just under 700 toys and we also donated 7 bikes! The next step is to sort it out and set it up for our next days of distribution. We cannot thank everyone enough! Whether it’s donating toys and money, volunteering, or braving the cold, it couldn’t happen without everyone’s support!

So we shout a big THANK YOU! And be sure to stay tuned to our Facebook page for more details on our upcoming distribution days and how you can still help! “
